Grade 8 Humanities Announcement

Hello Students of 8-33, 
I wanted to communicate that I will be marking what you have done so far for your literature circles for "The Outsiders" starting at the end of this week. Everyone should have completed the reading up to chapter 9. Everyone should have also completed three of the four roles for the literature circles. You do not need to complete the reading for chapters 10-12 since you are required to bring your novel back to school this week. You also do not need to finish the assignment for week four. If you have worked ahead and finished it, I will be happy to mark it, this will give you more marks in your grade book and allow me to have a more accurate picture of your abilities for when it is time for me to do report cards. If you were illustrator, you can take a picture of your drawing and add it to your literature circle folder, if you are able to. Marks for your three assignments will be showing up in PowerSchool over the next few weeks. if you have any questions concerning this, please email me at caadshade@cbe.ab.ca. Everyone should have already shared their Literature Circle folder with me on Google Drive. I will start marking what you have shared with me starting on Friday.

HUM 9:  Vocabulary activity with ch 4 vocabulary 9-23: The vocabulary document that 9-41 has been shared with you so you can look at it and study from it.
