HUM 9:  Ch 3-4 test Reminder: " Secret Path" descriptive paragraphs are due tomorrow so we can peer edit. If you are not done, please complete, print off and bring to class tomorrow.  Reminder :  Independent novel study/duotang is due on WEDNESDAY HUM 8:  Typed up essays in Learning Commons If you did not type up your entire essay, you must type it up and bring it to class tomorrow for editing LIFE SKILLS 9:  looked at what smoking a pack a day costs per day, week, month, year and brainstormed what you could do with the money instead Considered factors that may influence someone into substance use/abuse

HUM 9:  Vocabulary activity with ch 4 vocabulary 9-23: The vocabulary document that 9-41 has been shared with you so you can look at it and study from it. It is a mini word cycle for pairs of words on the vocabulary list.  Worked on descriptive writing passage for "The Secret Path". We will be typing up our passages in the Learning Commons tomorrow for the entire block.  REMINDER:  Ch 3/4 test on Monday, Dec 17. HUM 9:  worked on novel studies as well as "Secret Path" descriptive writing.  We will be typing up "Secret Path" descriptive writing passage on Friday, Dec 14.  9-23: we will not be having regular classes tomorrow as we will be going to the MADD presentation from 9-10am. I have handed out vocabulary sheets for the test on Monday since we will not be working on it as a class. It is just for reference, you do not need to complete the assignment.  HUM 8:  worked on inserting quotations "The Landlady" quotation practice is due for homework tomorrow, THURSDAY.
