    Homework:   
  • If you did not do this in class, it is for homework-find two examples of personification in chapter 1 of Fatty Legs. Put quotation marks around your quote and put the author's name and page number you found it on in brackets. 
  • Personification: Giving human characteristics to non-human things.

  • Handed in maps and biography of SE Hinton
  • Reviewed Foreshadowing definition 
  • On Monday, we will be reading "The Landlady" by Roald Dahl. There will be copies to share in class, but, if you would like your own to print, I have copied the link below. We will be locating quotes within the story, so you might like your own copy to highlight.

HUM 9:  Vocabulary activity with ch 4 vocabulary 9-23: The vocabulary document that 9-41 has been shared with you so you can look at it and study from it.
