  • Metro-describing people in your writing-finished activity
  • Show, Don't Tell in your writing Activity: transform one of the "telling" sentences into a "showing" sentence. Tomorrow, you will be recording one of the sentences on a sticky note and handing it in for assessment under Stem 2: Writes 

HUM 8: 

  • Foreshadowing Day 2: Scavenger Hunt
  • Review of Crusades
  • Completed Costa's 3-levels of questioning for "Saladin, Muslim Hero of the Crusades" article. 
    • Students read article and were asked to create one level-two and one level-three question based on information from the article. DUE TOMORROW.

Life Skills 9: 

  • Intro to substance use/abuse unit

HUM 9:  Vocabulary activity with ch 4 vocabulary 9-23: The vocabulary document that 9-41 has been shared with you so you can look at it and study from it. It is a mini word cycle for pairs of words on the vocabulary list.  Worked on descriptive writing passage for "The Secret Path". We will be typing up our passages in the Learning Commons tomorrow for the entire block.  REMINDER:  Ch 3/4 test on Monday, Dec 17.
