  • Checked and took up chapter 3 homework questions
  • Began collective rights
    • definition of collective identity
    • looked at discussed articles from the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples
    • Exit slip: Why should indigenous peoples worldwide have their own declaration? (include the idea of collective identity) Being marked under stem 7. 

HUM 8: 

  • Foreshadowing forensic investigation for "The Landlady"
  • Chapter 2 questions
  • Both items shared on Google Drive
  • What is not done in class is due for homework tomorrow 

Life Skills 9: 

  • Inputting ends comments into IRIS
  • Looking at potential careers on Learning Clicks website when done

HUM 9:  Vocabulary activity with ch 4 vocabulary 9-23: The vocabulary document that 9-41 has been shared with you so you can look at it and study from it. It is a mini word cycle for pairs of words on the vocabulary list.  Worked on descriptive writing passage for "The Secret Path". We will be typing up our passages in the Learning Commons tomorrow for the entire block.  REMINDER:  Ch 3/4 test on Monday, Dec 17.
