  • A study guide has been shared with you on Google Drive. Please note, one section says chapter 5-you do not need to know this material right now. 
  • Reminder: Independent novel study due Wednesday, Dec 19. This includes your duotang as well as your final assignment
  • UN charter of rights of the child-comparing to the rights Chanie had in residential school
  • Began "Secret Path" final descriptive writing assignment
  • The workbook and this writing assignment will all be handed in together, next week

HUM 8: 

  • Reminder: Ch 2 test tomorrow 
  • Essays-introductions and conclusions
  • Introduced The Outsiders essay
  • We will be typing it up on Friday, Dec 14th 
  • It will be due MONDAY, DEC 17

HUM 9:  Vocabulary activity with ch 4 vocabulary 9-23: The vocabulary document that 9-41 has been shared with you so you can look at it and study from it. It is a mini word cycle for pairs of words on the vocabulary list.  Worked on descriptive writing passage for "The Secret Path". We will be typing up our passages in the Learning Commons tomorrow for the entire block.  REMINDER:  Ch 3/4 test on Monday, Dec 17.
